Life In TDCJ Prison

Your Entire Life in TDCJ is Determined on Your Classification and Health Summary! Both Your Health Summary and Classification are Given to You During the Intake Process. Your Classification is Basically Determined by Your Crime, Your Past Times in Prison and Your Current Behavior. This Classification Will Change for Most Inmates While in TDCJ. The Better Behaved that You are and the Less “CASES” that You are Given, WILL Affect Your Living Conditions and Your Chance of Getting Paroled ASAP.

Your Health Summary will determine which jobs that you can be assigned while in TDCJ and what type of cell/dorm you will live in. It will change due to age and illnesses. If your medical condition is bad enough, you will have NO JOB.
